13CrMo44/Din 1.7335  is a low-alloy steel containing chromium and molybdenum as strengthening elements.Similar to the Chinese grade 12CrMo,13CrMo44 steel has good cold strain plasticity, machinability and weldability.

13CrMo44 is generally used in the quenched and tempered condition.It is mainly used in the pressure vessel industry, such as main pipes under high temperature conditions, superheating pipes, and elastic elements under high temperature conditions.

Heat Treatment
Normalizing For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal normalizing temperature:890-940°C
2.Hold the temperature for several hours
3.Cooling in the air

Annealing  For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal Annealing temperature:680-720°C
2.Cool slowly in the furance
3.Maximum Brinell hardness of 180

Quenching and Tempering(QT)  For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal Hardening temperature:910-940°C
2.Hold at this temperature then quench in air
3.Tempering  as soon as possible when the temperature low to ambient
4.Heat uniformly to the suitable temperature of 650-720°C
5.keep the material out of the furnace ,then cool in the air
